What is a nâbâ' (Prophet)?

 

A Prophet or the true word is Nâbâ (naw-baw) which means- is a servant or an inspired man/woman.

 

So many people today like to sling around the terms "prophet," or "false prophet." They define a prophet as someone who only predicts the future. This is not a prophet - this is witchcraft and sorcery. All these so called future events that Religion pushes today is nothing but diviners.

What is a Diviner? A person who uses special powers to predict future events.

 

Like always, we need to use scripture for our definition of scriptural things:

 

What a prophet does:

 

A prophet gets instructions from our CREATOR and takes them to the people. 

 

Exodus 34:27 And 'ÂDôN said to Mâshâh (Moses), “Write these Words, for according to the mouth of these Words I have made a covenant with you and with Yasrâ'âl .”

 

Prophets are there to bring the people to repentance and back to obedience of our Creator:

 

2 Chronicles 24:19 And He sent prophets to them, to bring them back to 'ÂDôN.

 

Isaiah 49:5  And now said 'ÂDôN– who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, to bring A‛âqaḇ (Jacob) back to Him, though Yaśâr'ÂL is not gathered to Him, yet I am esteemed in the eyes of 'ÂDôN, and My 'ÂL has been My strength –

ALL of the prophets said "Turn back in obedience to 'ÂDôN!" This is the definition of "Repent." TURN BACK TO OUR CREATOR!

 

Amos 3:7 For the Master 'ÂDôN does no matter unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

 

This means if there is something "prophetic" to be revealed - it is going to come from the Creator. This is why it is such a big issue if someone makes a claim and says "'ÂDôN said," when 'ÂDôN didn't say it, or whatever they claim did not come to pass. This person is a false prophet and we are commanded NOT to listen to these people. Deu 13:1-4 

 

Prophets most important function - nâbâ' (Prophets) speak the word of 'ÂDôN. They don't just merely 'predict the future' as people today think they do. There may be some element of events, but not always. For example "in that day or "in the latter day"

nâbâ' = speaks the word of 'ÂDôN.

 

Why do you think they ALL tell others to turn back and Fear and Obey the ALMIGHTY! "Repent?"

​

If people would search for the Creator, FEAR HIM and ask Him what HIS word means and take time to study the ancient Hebrew language and read the Torah and Prophets, He will show you HIS true wisdom, knowledge and understanding. 

​

He tells us in His word that "HIS PEOPLE" didn't trust Him and tested Him. Even the priesthood did this. 'ÂDôN sent His prophets rising early in the morning to warn people and nations (Religious Nations) to stop teaching His flocks FALSEHOOD, to turn back from their wickedness. Just read the book of Jeremiah, he was warning the nations and that included priest, prophets and sovereigns. Again, we inherited the falsehood from generation to generation and 'ÂDôN tells us that HIS PEOPLE would be scattered and worshiping the "other mighty ones of MAN" or "Ba'als" that our fathers DID NOT KNOW. 'ÂDôN tells us we would be brought up in the falsehood and we would have to search for Him with ALL of our heart.

 

Jeremiah wrote in 6:16: Thus said 'ÂDôN, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and find rest for yourselves."

What do you think this meant? Turn back, stop depending on MAN and MAN's OWN understandings. Search for our Creator!  OBEY HIS VOICE (Exodus 20) and FEAR HIM. Let 'ÂDôN teach you.

Let's read this warning here:

Deuteronomy 13:1-4 “If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other mighty ones,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For 'ÂDôN your Âlahym is testing you, to know whether you love 'ÂDôN your Âlahym with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after 'ÂDôN your Âlahym and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him."

 

In the above verses, 'ÂDôN clearly states the fact that some people who do not follow 'ÂDôN will definitely be able to foretell the future. These people will then attempt to lead people to worship other gods or "mighty ones," "Ba'als" rather than clinging to our Creator .

Note that in the Falsehood of the "NEW TEST"ament, the "False MAN idol" and his followers gives you all these signs of end days events that are not mentioned in the Torah. "Divination"

Where is this "Mark of the beast", "The Rapture" or this "666 beast" in the Torah and Prophets? It's not there! This is nothing other than MAN (Religions) trying to play GOD ALMIGHTY. Didn't they want to be like the Most High? See Tower of Babel tab.

We also know that the Church of England wrote and provided us with the New Testament, adding to the word! When you take Prophets of the Most High out of context to show something future, for example- a MAN Idol, which is showing Divination. 

​

And this can happen at times because 'ÂDôN will allow it, as it will test the strength of HIS people to see if they will give in and easily follow the fortune tellers who lead people astray, or if they will hold fast to 'ÂDôN and obey only Him!

 

We are only to follow the word of the 'ÂDôN. If someone speaks something that is not in accordance with His word, then this person is NOT a prophet but is working for the MEN of BABEL (Religion) and MAN's OWN understandings. They're speaking a false word!

​

If someone is calling themselves a 'prophet,' and they're a unrighteous and wicked person, they most certainly ARE NOT a prophet! According to the scriptures, they are considered to be a LIAR and 'ÂDôN is not going to use a liar to speak His words, or to tell His people about some future events. Prophets tell other people to "Repent," and turn back to 'ÂDôN and 'ÂDôN is not going to use someone as His spokesman who does NOT even know how to repent themselves!

Remember this in 1 Kings, 

 1 Kings 18:21-22 And Âliyah came to all the people, and said, “How long would you keep hopping between two opinions? If 'ÂDôN is Alahym , follow Him; and if Ba‛al, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word. And Âliyah said to the people, “I alone am left a prophet of 'ÂDôN, but the prophets of Ba‛al, are four hundred and fifty men. 

​

Âliyah(Elijah) was the only true prophet left for the Most High at that time going up against 450 prophets for Ba'al or Man's Mighty ones (Religions). Do you understand that there are Prophets for our Creator who warn you to turn back to our Creator and there is Prophets for "Religions" Ba'als who show you something different. Same with Priests. There is Priest for the Most High and Priest for Ba'als or Mans mighty ones (Religions). The Priest for our Creator will do this,

 Shâm‛ah (Exodus) 19:5-6 ‘And now, if you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoples – for all the earth is Mine –‘and you shall be to Me a reign of priests and a set-apart nation.’ Those are the words which you are to speak to the children of Yaśâr'ÂL."

The Priest and Prophets of MAN (Religions) or for their Ba'al's (Mighty Ones) push something different. Its their religious doctrines, their own understandings.

Remember, He commanded us and warns us about this:

​

Leviticus 19:26;31  ‘Do not eat meat with the blood. Do not practise divination or magic. 

  ‘Do not turn to mediums, and do not seek after spiritists to be defiled by them. I am 'ÂDôN your Alahym

​

Deuteronomy 18:9-14  “When you come into the land which 'ÂDôN your Alahym is giving you, do not learn to do according to the abominations of those nations (a body of prideful people). “Let no one be found among you who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practises divination, or a user of magic, or one who interprets omens or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12  “For whoever does these is an abomination to 'ÂDôN, and because of these abominations 'ÂDôN your Alahym drives them out from before you.  “Be perfect before 'ÂDôN your Alahym,   for these nations(a body of prideful people) whom you are possessing do listen to those using magic and to diviners. But as for you, 'ÂDôN your Alahym has not appointed such for you.

​

Let's hear it again from Prophet Ezekiel;

​

Eze 13:1  And the word of 'ÂDôN came to me, saying, 2  “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Yisra’ěl who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, ‘Hear the word of 'ÂDôN!’ ” 3  Thus said the Master 'ÂDôN, “Woe to the foolish prophets, who are following their own spirit, without having had a vision! 4  “O Yisra’ěl, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins. 5  “You have not gone up into the breaches, nor do you build a wall for the house of Yisra’ěl to stand in battle on the day of 'ÂDôN. 6  “Their visions are false and their divinations a lie, saying, ‘Thus declares 'ÂDôN,’ when 'ÂDôN has not sent them, yet they expected the word to be confirmed! 7  “Have you not seen a false vision, and have you not spoken a divination of lies? You say, ‘'ÂDôN declares,’ when I have not spoken.” 8  Therefore thus said the Master 'ÂDôN, “Because you have spoken falsehood and seen lies, therefore see, I am against you,” declares the Master 'ÂDôN. 9  “My hand shall be against the prophets who see falsehood and who divine lies. They shall not be in the council of My people, nor be written in the record of the house of Yisra’ěl, and they shall not enter into the land of Yisra’ěl. And you shall know that I am the Master 'ÂDôN. 10  “Because, yes because they have led My people astray, saying, ‘Peace!’ when there is no peace. And when one is building a wall, see, they are coating it with whitewash!

PLEASE SEEK our Creator and have Him teach you HIS WORD, TURN BACK TO HIM, FEAR HIM, OBEY HIS VOICE AND GUARD IT!
