"OBEY 'ÂL SHÂDDÂY'S VOICE"

First we have to look at the 3 verses we find for the word "Demon".  First let's look at Lev 17:7

ISR 2009- Lev 17:7  “And let them no longer slaughter their slaughterings to demons, after whom they whored. This is a law forever for them throughout their generations.” 

​

KJV- Lev 17:7  And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils (H8163), after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations. 

​

Devils/demons here are H8163 which is śâ‛ı̂yr and means goat/she goats. 

​

Note: Slaughter is the same as sacrifice.

​

So they whored after these goats or she goats. 

​

Let's look at Deu 32:17; Note that devils/demons in Deu 32:17 and psalms 106:36 show this word as H7700/ H7699 which is the word shad which means a "goat demon"

ISR 2009 Deu 32:17  “They slaughtered to demons – not Eloah – Mighty ones they did not know, New ones who came lately, Which your fathers did not fear.

​

KJV- Deu 32:17  They sacrificed unto devils (H7699/H7700), not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. 

​

And the last verse we find the word devils/demons;

​

ISR 2009 - Psa 106:36  And served their idols, And they became a snare to them. 37  And they slaughtered their sons And their daughters to demons, 

​

KJV- Psa 106:36  And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. 37  Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils (H7699/H7700), 

​

So after comparing and understanding that this "demon" was an idol or new mighty one who they worshiped to back in the day and knowing now that the King James changed the word "Demon" to Devil, the correct word is a demon. After going back to the ancient path, we see it was a "she goat" or a "goat". This is an idol that they setup and worshiped. They also sacrificed their sons and daughters to this "idol" or "mighty one".

Also, understand that a Demon can be any other "Mighty ones" of MAN or a RELIGION (Cult) OF MAN.

 

Well, nothing new under the sun, we see this again today.

Let's also realize this is still an idol and what do the prophets tell us about idols?

Isaiah 46:6-9  “They pour gold out of the bag, and weigh silver on the scale. They hire a goldsmith, and he makes it a mighty one. They fall down, they also bow themselves. “They bear it on the shoulder, they carry it and set it in its place, and it stands – from its place it does not move. Though one cries out to it, it does not answer, nor save him from his distress.   “Remember this, and show yourselves men; turn it back, you transgressors.“Remember the former events of old, for I am Âl, and there is no one else – Alahym, and there is no one like Me, 

 

HABAKKUK 2:18  “Of what use shall a carved image be? For its maker has carved it: a moulded image and teacher of falsehood! For the maker trusts what he has made: to make dumb idols!  19  “Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Awake!’ to silent stone, ‘Arise!’ Is it a teacher? See, it is overlaid with gold and silver, and there is no spirit at all inside it.

How about the commands from the instruction of life (Yârâh(Tôrâh))

​

Lev 26:1  ‘Do not make idols for yourselves, and do not set up a carved image or a pillar for yourselves, and do not place a stone image in your land, to bow down to it. For I am 'ÂDôN your Âlâhym. 

​

Deuteronomy  4:16  lest you should do corruptly and shall make for yourselves a carved image in the form of any figure – the likeness of male or female, ​17  the likeness of any beast that is on the earth or the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the heavens, 18  the likeness of any creature that creeps on the ground or the likeness of any fish that is in the water under the earth;

Deuteronomy  4:19  and lest you lift up your eyes to the heavens, and shall see the sun, and the moon, and the stars – all the host of the heavens – and you be drawn away into bowing down to them and serving them, which 'ÂDôN your Alahym has allotted to all the peoples under all the heavens.

Deu 27:15  Cursed is the man who makes a carved or moulded image, an abomination to 'ÂDôN, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ And all the people shall answer and say, ‘Aměn!’ 

​
